Stringline ("we," "our," or "us") operates the Stringline mobile application (the "App"). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your choices regarding your data.

Information We Collect

Stringline does not collect personal information.

The App is a standalone construction calculator that runs entirely on your device. There are no user accounts, no login, no server communication, and no analytics.

Information Stored On-Device Only

• Calculation history: Your past calculations are stored locally on your device using SQLite. This data never leaves your device.
• Settings and preferences: Your chosen fraction precision, building code standard, display format, and other preferences are stored locally on your device.
• Memory slots: Calculator memory values (M+, M−, MR) are stored locally on your device.

Information We Do NOT Collect

• Names, email addresses, or any account information
• IP addresses
• Location data (precise or coarse)
• Device identifiers
• Usage analytics or telemetry
• Crash reports
• Contacts, photos, or files
• Health, financial, or biometric data
• Browsing or search history
• Advertising identifiers

Third-Party Services

Stringline does not integrate with any third-party services. There are no analytics SDKs, no advertising networks, no crash reporting tools, and no server-side components. The App makes zero network requests during normal operation.

Data Storage

All data is stored locally on your device using SQLite. Uninstalling the App permanently deletes all stored data including calculation history, settings, and memory values.

Children's Privacy

Stringline does not collect any personal information from anyone, including children under 13. The App is safe for use by all ages.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by updating the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
